The Golden Resilience
The new project integrates digital automation with human artistry, where AI assisted in the foundation, but I directed and reshaped each story to align with my vision. This series was inspired by Japanese kintsugi, which depicts fractures as an epitome of strength, particularly within the black identity and experience.
Each portrait traces both visible and invisible scar with gold, depicting survival and renewal. Golden Fractures questions conventional representations of suffering using light, texture, and gilded accents, hence honouring resilience as proof of persistence.
